PlanetCare Microfiber Filters

Country:

Slovenia

Water in particular contains large amounts of microfibers, which poses a problem for the environment and health. Today, 60% of all textiles are made from synthetic fibers and the average washing machine load of 6 kg of laundry releases over 700,000 microplastic fibers into the wastewater. 35% of the microplastics in the oceans also come out of washing machines. PlanetCare from Slovenia has now developed a solution to prevent this. Pollution filters have been developed that collect these pollutants and can also be installed in washing machines subsequently. But circular economy is also an issue, therefore the used filter cartridges can be sent to PlanetCare free of charge, where they are cleaned in an eco-friendly way and 95% of them reused. The filters have been rated by the Swedish Environment Agency as the best on the market.
