The forest and its afforestation play a very important role in reducing our CO2 emissions. A sufficient supply of water in dry areas is essential, especially in the initial phase. For this purpose, NaKu, in cooperation with the higher federal teaching and research institute for horticulture Schönbrunn, has developed special bioplastic sacs that are used in Kenya. The NaKu plant sac is completely compostable, does not release any microplastics, is planted together with the tree and guarantees an adequate water supply. With costs of € 2 for 100 trees, the NaKu plant sac is also very cheap and can be used worldwide.
