The Northern Lights project aims to improve CO2 neutrality in Europe by providing CO2 transport and permanent storage services. Northern Lights enables all industries that want to capture their CO2 to do so with the help of Northern Lights Carbon. Over 150 people are already working on this pioneering project. To implement this, systems are being developed in the North Sea to unload liquid CO2 from ships and feed it into secure geological storage facilities. In this way, around 100 million tons of CO2 could be stored in the next 25 years.
