Just like clean water, healthy food is particularly important for our youth, and so is information about it. The sustainable school nutrition program developed by the municipality of Torres Vedras in 2014 aims to provide healthy school meals in a social, ecological, and sustainable way. Vegetables are grown in the school gardens. The food raw materials are bought from the producer together with the students. The menus are created together with the support of a nutritionist. On the children's birthday, the parents are invited by the community to lunch together.
