Our buildings require around 40% of the total energy demand. Optimizing this energy consumption must be an important aspect of the future. The company Fabeck Architectes has set itself the goal of building a superlative plus energy house for the Technical High School in the city of Ettelbruck. Attention was paid to the circular economy and the gray energy of all building materials used. The sun was included as an energy source by means of an optimal design. The structure of the building is made of wood and dry walls consisting of clay. Special heat exchangers and a solar-powered annual heat storage system are part of this great project.
